Roots Across Borders
We help you look into your ancestors’ past and preserve your family history for future generations
(Czech Republic, Ukrajina, Belarus, Russia)
The story began in 2009, when Alexandra Kazyrevič set out to prepare for the birth of her first child by exploring her family history—sharing her ancestors’ stories and going through old family photographs together.

Today, Alexandra Kazyrevič conducts around 40 genealogical research projects each year across Eastern Europe and the former Russian Empire, helping clients uncover both joyful and tragic moments from their ancestors’ lives, discover rare documents and photographs, and trace the paths of close and distant relatives.

Every year, Alexandra Kazyrevič hosts East Slavic genealogical conference PragueGen in Prague. This dynamic event brings together genealogists from across Europe and inspires a wide audience to explore the history of their own families.

Alexandra is a co-author of the practical guide to studying your family history, "My Family"("Мой род" - edition is in Russian language).

What our clients say about us
Louise D
Victoria, Australia

My finding Alexandra has been an absolute windfall.

I was in unknown territory seeking a genealogist — thousands of kilometres from Australia, navigating a language I could not speak. How was I to find someone I could trust with sensitive family history, in which I was so emotionally invested?
From Alexandra’s reply to my initial enquiry, I knew I had serendipitously found the ideal genealogist.

Prior to my travelling to meet her in the Czech Republic, Alexandra guided my investigation with sincere empathy, listening carefully to my needs while offering thoughtful and professional advice. A clear timetable was established so that records were ready upon my arrival, translated in advance, and a visit to the National Archives arranged.

Alexandra goes beyond expectation, bringing genuine interest, exemplary attention to detail, and generosity of spirit. I so enjoyed our meetings, and the information uncovered, proved important to us both.

This experience became far more than genealogical research; it was deeply meaningful, made possible through Alexandra’s expertise, sensitivity and commitment.

I am ever so grateful.
